GAMEPLAY

Players defend their home from relentless zombie onslaughts by strategically placing plants with unique defensive abilities. Each plant plays a crucial role in stopping zombies, such as shooting peas, exploding, creating shields, or slowing down zombie movement.

In Plants Vs Zombies, you'll choose several types of plants through seed packs before each level. However, you need "suns" to grow plants. "Suns" can fall randomly or be created from special types of plants like sunflowers and sun mushrooms. The game constantly challenges players with zombie types that have distinct behaviors.

• Dancing Zombies dance as they move and can summon Backup Dancers.
• Zombies drive vehicles that crush plants, leaving trails of ice.
• Jack-in-the-Box zombies carry an explosive box and move five times faster than regular zombies.
• Bungee Zombies steal trees or drop zombies from above.
• Digger Zombie digs from right to left, eating trees from behind.

Pro tips

Players will be equipped with shovels to remove trees as needed to adjust tactics. Each lane in the garden has a disposable lawnmower, acting as the last line of defense. If a zombie reaches the lawnmower, it will wipe out the entire lane, but if another zombie approaches afterward, you will have to start the level again.
