Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered
Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered is a stealth-horror game set in a mysterious school. The player's goal is to collect all seven notebooks and escape before Baldi catches you.
COLLECT SEVEN NOTEBOOKS AND SURVIVE BALDI
In Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered, players must collect seven notebooks while avoiding Baldi's pursuit. Each notebook presents challenging math problems that players must solve; a single wrong answer triggers an immediate pursuit by Baldi. As you collect more notebooks, the sound of him slapping his ruler against his hand grows more rapid. This act is much like an alarm clock. The louder the sound, the closer Baldi is.
Baldi can hear the sounds of opening doors, lockers, and almost any other noise-making action. Sprinting, in particular, generates a lot of noise and quickly depletes your stamina. As a result, prioritize walking and only run when Baldi is right behind you.
Three playstyles
- Classic Style: A remastered version of the original Baldi’s Basics featuring smarter NPCs.
- Party Style: Based on Birthday Bash; items are hidden in gift boxes with randomized locations, so you won't know what you've got until you use it.
- Demo Style: Brings content from Baldi’s Basics Plus into the classic map, adding math machines, faculty name tags, random events, and characters like Chalkles, Beans, and Cloudy Copter.
All three styles feature an endless mode, where you keep collecting notebooks until you get caught. Completing each style unlocks "Fun Settings," such as Mirror Mode, Lights Out, and Hard Mode. Notably, the game also hides a fourth style called "NULL" for those who wish to explore even deeper.
Hazards
- Playtime: blocks your path and forces you to play jump rope. Use safety scissors to escape.
- Principal of the thing: can detain you for running in the hallway or opening lockers.
- Gotta sweep: sweeps everything in its path; can even push Baldi.
- Bully: blocks the doorway and takes one of your items before letting you pass.
- Arts and crafters: watches from the end of the hallway and becomes extremely dangerous after you collect all 7 notebooks.
