OVERVIEW

Storyline

In Sonic Mania Plus, players join Sonic and Tails on an exciting adventure. The story begins when the duo receives a signal indicating the presence of a powerful energy source on Angel Island. Upon arrival, they discover the signal is emanating from a gem known as the Phantom Ruby. However, the evil scientist Eggman also seeks to possess the stone. The heroes' mission is to protect the gem and keep the island safe, preventing dark forces from succeeding in their sinister plots.

Characters

• Sonic is instantly recognizable by his signature blue fur. With his super-speed, he can overcome any obstacle and defeat countless enemies.
• Tails is Sonic's close friend. Thanks to his agile tails, he can easily take flight.
• Knuckles is a physically imposing figure with a serious demeanor, serving as a steadfast pillar of support for the team.
• Ray can pass through solid objects when running at high speeds.
• Dr. Eggman is the game's antagonist, constantly inventing massive machines in an attempt to defeat Sonic.
• Metal Sonic, created by Eggman, serves as an evil counterpart to the protagonist.

GAMEPLAY

Sonic Mania Plus is a classic-style game where players control Sonic and his friends as they navigate dangerous obstacles throughout their journey. Eggman constantly seeks to cause chaos and shatter the kingdom's peace. Beyond simply completing levels in record time, players must also thwart Eggman's evil schemes.
