Among Us is a captivating role-playing game that requires the participation of a group of 4 to 10 people. Your mission is to identify the Impostors hiding among the crew saboteurs intent on sowing discord and eliminating crew members. Your enemies have many tricks up their sleeves to deceive you. You must observe carefully and use your powers of deduction to unmask them. Additionally, you can participate in various tasks to ensure the ship continues to operate smoothly.
GAME RULES
Two opposing factions
In Among Us, players are assigned to one of two groups: Crewmates or Impostors. Each group has distinct roles and objectives. To win, you and your teammates must complete all assigned tasks.
Crewmates
Crewmates constitute the majority of the group. Their primary objective is to perform maintenance tasks on the ship, such as connecting wires, emptying the trash, swiping ID cards, and various other activities. Completing these tasks requires players to navigate to different locations across the map.
When an Impostor is suspected to be on board, crew members participate in discussions and meetings to vote on whom to eject from the ship. When an Impostor kills a Crewmate, the Crewmate becomes an Impostor, they become a "Ghost," and they can continue to assist the remaining members. Ghosts can move through objects, check security cameras, and even complete tasks that living players cannot.
Impostors
Impostors pose as Crewmates with the goal of killing them without being detected. Furthermore, Impostors can sabotage ship systems such as lights, ventilation, and oxygen supplies to create chaos. The Impostor wins if the number of Impostors equals the number of remaining Crewmates, or if the Impostor successfully sabotages the ship's oxygen system and the Crewmates fail to repair it in time.
Player tasks
- Admin Room Task: in the admin room, the basic task is to swipe an ID card. If the swipe is too fast or too slow, the card reader may fail to read the data correctly, requiring you to try again. The task is completed once the card's information appears on the screen.
- Communications room task: your task involves downloading and uploading files. In the communications room, click the "Download" icon on the screen to start the download. Once the download is complete, you must proceed to the admin room and click the "Upload" icon.
- Medbay task: the task is to examine test tube samples and report the results. Upon entering the room, you will see several test tubes arranged on the workbench; you must identify the sample that differs in color from the others.
