Managing power and lighting

In the FNAF series, managing power and lighting is crucial for survival. Doors consume the most energy; instead of keeping them closed constantly, players should only shut them when absolutely necessary. Flashlights also drain power, so they should only be used when approaching animatronics are detected. Each animatronic has unique movement and attack patterns, so understanding their characteristics helps players devise better defensive strategies.

Using the camera system effectively

The camera system allows players to monitor the animatronics, but using it consumes energy. Rather than keeping the cameras on continuously, players should listen for audio cues to pinpoint the animatronics' locations. Focus on key areas, such as the storage room and entrances near your position, to minimise the need to switch between too many cameras and to conserve power. Players should use the generator and the Freddy Fazbear mask strategically.

The generator powers the equipment in the security office, while the Freddy Fazbear mask allows the player to blend in and avoid attracting the attention of the animatronics. However, overusing the generator can lead to a power outage, leaving the player unable to use any of the security office's tools.

The Freddy Fazbear mask serves as an effective distraction. Wearing it allows the player to blend in with the animatronics, preventing them from detecting a human presence. However, the mask is not always effective, particularly against Foxy.
