Cube Miner plunges you into a mine teeming with gold, gems, and other precious items - resources you can use to construct colossal structures. Now, embark on your treasure-hunting journey. Will you mine the nearby gold veins or venture further afield in search of rare crystals? Or are you ready to delve even deeper into unexplored tunnels to uncover massive caches of loot?
GAMEPLAY
As soon as you hit the "Play" button, your miner character will appear on the surface. Above you lies a grid of colorful blocks arranged in a specific pattern. Use your mouse or keyboard to step onto a block and start digging. When a block is broken, it is automatically added to your inventory, leaving behind an empty space through which you can move. Your primary objective is to collect rare ores, manage your energy levels, and descend to deeper levels without getting trapped. Always monitor your backpack's capacity and energy bar closely; once your backpack is full or your energy runs out, you will be compelled to return to the surface.
At the surface shop, you can trade your collected loot for coins. Then, use the coins you've earned to purchase upgrades. Larger backpacks allow you to carry more items, while powerful tools enable you to smash through hard rock blocks with ease.
Tips and tricks
- During your first few playthroughs, don't rush to descend too deep into the tunnels right away. Instead, try digging in a gentle "Z" pattern.
- Upgrade your inventory size as early as possible. Having a large enough backpack minimizes the need to return to the surface, thereby giving you more time to mine.
- Cracked or darker-colored blocks may fall down if you dig away the block directly beneath them.
- Prioritize collecting rare ores whenever possible.
How to control
- Use the arrow keys or WASD to move your miner character.
- Use the mouse to aim, and left-click on adjacent blocks to break them.
