In SCP Escape from a Secret Laboratory, players can explore the game in different roles.

• As a test subject, players need to find a key card and then upgrade it to the highest level. Fight monsters and guards.
• When transforming into scientists, players also need to complete tasks to upgrade their key cards.  Explore the building and find a way out. Take caution to avoid monster attacks.
• When playing as a guard, players need to prevent anyone from escaping the laboratory. Keep an eye on everyone in the building to prevent escape.
• Players can attack anyone in the building, including test subjects, scientists, and guards, in the role of a monster.
